A move that is further away, even within the same state, could take a few days. If you are moving your items long distance, expect a longer delivery time frame. From the most eastern – western point of the USA the distance is almost 3000 miles. That’s a lot of ground to cover. If you are transporting your belongings internationally, delivery times vary dependent on where you’re relocating. By sea it will range between 4 – 12 weeks worldwide. If shipping by air, 8 – 10 days.

Time Of Year

The busiest season for a moving company is late spring and summer. If you will be moving during this time, be prepared to expect your delivery to arrive closer to the end of the delivery window provided by your moving company. During the winter, off-peak, your belongings may arrive in a shorter time frame.
